Did we ever find out who made that great call? Price or Bell?

Sunday you had Cuetos brilliance to fall back on and the realization that if hes healthy he is as good as there is. I see no positives out of tonights game other than maybe Hoover is finally getting his off speed stuff over the plate. Plus Cingrani is showing no signs of becoming a big time pitcher, Joey looks as miserable on the field as he did last year, we clearly have several guys in the pen who don't belong in the big leagues, and now you have to wonder about Marshall. And i'm losing my patience with Bruce. Not a good night.

I guess when everyone has a poor night it is easier for me to get over because it just happens. I get much more worked up when one poor play blows the entire game.

What's really disheartening is I really thought we ahad turned the corner after that Pirates series and were ready to make a move. Then we drop 4 out of the next five. Back to square one. Not good.

It's pretty obvious Marshall's shoulder isn't right. You can't throw 90% curveballs and expect good results, even if it's a good curve. You have to work off your fastball.

The Reds have several underperformers right now, especially with key players. It can be tough to watch.

They've had some great performances from Johnny Cueto, and some overperformances from Simon, Rocco, and Pena but that's about it.

Given the underperformances, the team is only 3 games under .500 with 135 games to go. I understand the frustration, I share it too, but if you don't think this team has a lot of potential upside, then you're wrong.

His fastball velocity is down 2-3 mph. Counting on Marshall was never a good idea.

Meanwhile, Duke is doing great in Milwaukee. Jocketty.

Thing is, that's exactly what people said from June 1 on last year. This team is playing a lot like that team from June 1 on, and things didn't get better last year.

I don't think this team needs a ton of changes, but I think this lineup needs an injection of energy. It should have been done in the offseason.

No, I'm glad Cozart is hitting a little better. I'd like to see Bruce start to hit the ball better.

    I'll agree wholeheartedly with that.

If they can't get energized by Hamilton's presence, nothing will do any good.
