You really want to call them dead on April 30th?

If they overturned that, I was going to throw my shoe through the tv.

Wait, I'm not wearing shoes. Never mind.

Most posters agreed and said Cingrani must be hurt, otherwise it made no sense.
It was not the move I would have made if Cingrani felt fine. But I'm not shouting from my soapbox that it was ridiculous.

call could have gone either -- IMO

    Do I want to? No.

Does my brain say they aren't going anywhere this year? Yes.

Thom just made it sound like the 2 runs in the first inning don't count for as much hahaha. Sorry Thom don't think the offense lost this one.

Its a marathon not a sprint and they're just hitting the first turn. But tonight was really a bummer.

Jay is not going to hit .220 all year. Joey isn't going to hit .270 all year. Cingrani is going to go back to form. Everybody knows that, I hope. When they break out, a winning streak is in the offing. I hope. And I think Joey needs to bat third, but that's my opinion. I imagine, though, that Walt and Bob are having second thoughts about deals that could have been made and their managerial decision. Not that anything will happen.

Every time we get runners on base or have a game like tonight I think of the Benny Hill theme.

I can get that. I guess I don't get down by games as much when they're not blown leads. Or even Sunday wasting Cueto's gem was more frustrating than this for me. Some nights you just don't have it and that is what tonight has felt like since the 4th or 5th.

Games like this happen, even against the Cubs, only two game series, Reds split, no huge deal IMO.

Getting beat by a rookie pitcher in Atlanta and giving away Sunday's game by giving in to a lefty/lefty matchup in a key spot, that bothers me much more.

Tonight was just a loss. The games this past weekend were very winnable and just messed up.
