Yeah I'm old. No doubt about that, but my Dad always used to say that when the Reds were sure to lose a game. He would say that, turn off the radio or TV and head for bed. After a rant or two.

It's like he doesn't care as much anymore. He used to get thrown out of games arguing strike 3s. Now he just acts like it's no big deal. He's lost some of his fire, IMO.

I don't think it is a care thing I think he is a perfectionist and takes his craft pretty seriously. That being said the defense has sucked for awhile and it is hard to find an explanation.

Kal, my question is why do you pull Cingrani who has just over 70 pitches heading into the 5th inning in a 3-3 game? If you have a loaded bullpen ready to fire, fine. But to pull him for Nick Christiani? Really? And this is not hindsight 20/20. I said it at the time. Just made no sense. Most posters agreed and said Cingrani must be hurt, otherwise it made no sense.

So you really, really do not like this decision?

It could be the "I've got too much $ in my pocket to care as much anymore" syndrome that many of them get?
