That was at home. No matter who it was against 6 HR's in 7 innings was annoying.

This is what happens when you can't throw a fastball. Guys can just sit on your curve. If he can't throw a fastball Marshall is done. If his shoulder is that bad they may as well DL him.

Now that it looks like Cingrani is not hurt, that bad decision is being excused? Just because Cingrani looked mediocre through the first four doesn't mean I wouldn't rather have him out there over a AAA pitcher in a tie game in the 5th inning.

Bad decision by Price if Cingrani wasn't hurt.
I don't blame Price for not trusting Tony to go thru the heart of the order again. If that was the call, who else do you put in? Hoover/Parra? They aren't trusted arms right now.

It's like he doesn't care as much anymore. He used to get thrown out of games arguing strike 3s. Now he just acts like it's no big deal. He's lost some of his fire, IMO.

This team is ok on paper. When Joey, Bruce and Homer play like they've been playing, we are going to have some problems. Thank goodness for simon, Hamilton and Broxton or wed have the same record as the Cubs.

This is quite the parade of horribles, but I predicted we'd see this in last night's thread. Hoover righted his ship, but everyone else did not.

Kal, my question is why do you pull Cingrani who has just over 70 pitches heading into the 5th inning in a 3-3 game? If you have a loaded bullpen ready to fire, fine. But to pull him for Nick Christiani? Really? And this is not hindsight 20/20. I said it at the time. Just made no sense. Most posters agreed and said Cingrani must be hurt, otherwise it made no sense.
