Sigh, is this the second or third "desperation lineup" this year already?

Last year Dusty was bashed because he was too stubborn with the line up, this year Price is bashed for being to flexible....lol. Too crazy. I was a Dusty supporter, but that was one thing that frustrated me, his lineups. Damned if you do....damned if you don't!

Lets just throw nine numbers into a hat and draw for batting order imo.

I do appreciate that he's trying things that we would never, ever have seen with Dusty here, whether they work out or not.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

YES! Like his willingness to make changes...the way shumaker is raking he should be leadoff...and mez shoulda been 4 or 5 when he was raking

I actually like it with who is available and with how Pena is hitting.

That's what I was thinking too. I like Pena up higher, Brandon's hitting better too.

I like it. Votto needs some RBI this series to boost his numbers for the common folk.

Interesting lineup. I can buy into it in light of how some of these guys are recently performing.

I don't have many inviolate rules in baseball.

But not hitting Heisey and Cozart back-to-back would be one of them.

I do like Votto hitting cleanup very much, it's like Price telling Votto to cut the nonsense and drive the ball. Hope it works.

As for Pena second, it concerns me about the DP, but it's worth a try if he's feeling healthy again.

But if Pena hits into a double play, it means Phillips can't.
