When you throw like 85% fastballs....what's the point?

haha - yeah, it's called the league knowing you are throwing fastballs 90% of the time.

Yeah maybe. I haven't looked at the Texas lineup, but I do know this...Votto and Bruce, the 2 main run producers hitting behind Hamilton most of the year, haven't exactly been tearing the cover off the ball.

Looks like the HRs knocked some sense into Cingrani, too bad it came at the expense of the lead.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I do believe that the Cozart funk of the first month or so is in the rear window. He's been looking much more like his normal self lately. Not tearing the cover off the ball by any means, but getting his fair share of hits. Coupled with his defense...I'll take that.

Soto made contact, but it was a lazy fly ball, 1 out

MLB players aren't given the take sign nearly enough. I would have given it to Soto on both 2-0 and 3-1. I know he hit the 3-1 pitch well, but I maintain the take sign is not given nearly enough.

It was against the wall to right field. Not exactly my definition of a lazy fly ball.
