“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Mesoraco resting. He hasn't hit much lately. Last thirty days his OPS is .672 with a .190 BA.

Pena also has slumped, they both hopefully can get it going.

Ground rule double for Billy. Man, if it didn't go over the fence, he'd have had more.

I could be wrong, but can't an ump give a runner an extra base on a ground rule double, if he believes that he clearly would have reached that base if the ball had not gone over the wall?

I hate ground rule doubles when BHam is off to the races.

If I recall correctly that rule only applies to lead runners should there be runners on base when the ground rule double is hit.
