Terrible news. Puts their losing streak into perspective.

    Thoughts go out to Segura.

I can't even.. I try to imagine getting that news about one of my kids and I get sick to my stomach. Sad.

Losing a child has to be unimaginably tough.

When the brutality of life and nature surfaces in such a way, baseball can seem quite trivial.

Positive thoughts to the Segura family.

Watching their game now and you can see it all over the players' faces.

I saw it about an hour ago, can't even imagine how much that can hurt. Prayers to the entire Segura family.

The game today is all of the sudden so unimportant

As a new father myself (15 month old boy), news like this hits harder and different than it would have in years past. My heart goes out to the guy, because there is truly no love like the love you have for your children.
