Never seen a dumber baserunning team. It's like Billy Hatcher is trepanning them at first base.
That's why they call it a risk, because there's a chance you might not make it. That was a risk worth taking, unlike Santiago trying to steal 3rd for who knows what reason.

Just no way anyone in baseball scores on Parra from shallow RF....Hamilton maybe makes it but Heisey no way. Parra has a top 5 OF arm in the game.

What also sucks is that we don't have great Defense any more. Our Starting pitching, as a result, especially in the GAB, is no longer elite. It needs the elite Defense it had earlier in the season. They might occasionally give up no runs or one run, but they are as likely to give up four or more,...and this Offense can't win a game when they need to have five runs or more....heck, they can't win when they need to have three runs. Simon better figure out a way to shut them out, while expecting to have to get four outs in an inning or two to do it.
