    The key word was "almost."

Kluber reminds me of Homer quite a bit. In terms of delivery and stuff.

It's quite popular to give Ludwick the devil for not hitting .290 and hitting 20 HR's, so he's worthless. Trouble is, the numbers don't lie. Since Price decided he was going to platoon in left, he's fun Heisey, Schumaker, and Lutz out there to disastrous results--much lower numbers than Luddy. And he sits what may be the third best hitter right now because Schu is a "hustler" and a "veteran" or Heisey because he's a better fielder, or Lutz to see what he's got. In the meantime Ludwick sits on the bench and sees guys not producting playing ahead of him and burns a slow burn. I don't blame him.

Long day at the office and just now seeing the lineup. Yep, Hannahan as the DH pretty much sums up the entire 2014 season for the Reds. What a disaster. I mean, when you have to use a glove-first/terrible hitter as your DH, you know your team is really, really bad. (Or you could just look at the offensive stats to see that. Either way.)

But in terms of the most important stat, BWDR (Bruce Wayne Doppleganger Ratio), we still have the superior player.

Both smooth and easy deliveries. Then the ball explodes out of their hands. Neither look like they're throwing hard, but both are in the mid 90's. Looks like very little effort expended by both.

And btw...he hit 96 in the first inning.

I don't like Schumaker defensively (at ANY position) but I'll give him this...much better range than Ludwick.

Hamilton can't steal if you're swinging at the first pitch Bruce!
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Jay Bruce really killed this inning, doubtful we ever had a chance of scoring anyway. Good god this offense is beyond pathetic, and lacking IQ

We seem to be burning through our quota of baserunners to no effect.

In just the past 3 weeks, I think I've seen this movie more times than Star Wars.
