I don't know which is worse tonight: Simon's pitching, or this TV announcing crew.

Yes.......has been bad most of the year. Freezes, continually buffering, etc. And has up to 5 minutes lag time.

Simon's ERA post-All-Star game looks like that of a slow-pitch softball pitcher. (A bad one.)

2-1 Marlins going to the bottom of 2.

Making the All-Star Game was the worst thing that could have happened to Simon (from the Reds' perspective). Even hearing him talk after the selection (which was just because Cueto couldn't pitch) he was talking like he had arrived as a superstar. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it sure seems like mentally he's a completely different pitcher now. The AS selection gave him a false sense of security. He's now overconfident, which can be (is) a bad thing.

I'm having no issues at the moment.

I sure hope Cingrani gets healthy for 2015 because Simon sure as hell isn't the answer.

Simon is now the #5 guy....the first half he was what we wanted Homer to be.....and Homer was the. #5 guy

If Simon can eat some innings and give us a chance to win a decent number of games, can't ask for much more.

Maybe it is that he threw 87 innings last year and 61 the year before. Career high is 115. And this year he is already at 140. Maybe his arm is just worn out.
