Hope I'm wrong but I see no reason to think we can outslug The Rocks this road trip.

Simon's been going downhill for a month now. Would be nice to see him turn it around.

We can't outslug anyone. We are 0-25 when the opponent scores more than five runs.

This team was built on Great Starting Pitching, Great 8th/9th Inning Pitching and Great Defense. We lost the Great Starting pitching with various injuries this season, did not have the Great 8th/9th Inning Pitching the first two months, and lost the Great Defense with Bruce/Votto and Phillips missing games (Votto out caused Frazier to be moved from 3rd along with various other situations occurring defensively because of it, even though Votto struggled Defensively himself this year.) For the Defense to be Great, it needs all nine Defenders playing extremely well.

Going to the game tonight! Hoping it doesn't rain, Simon turns it around, and Stubbs/Masset are nice to us.

Gee, didn't they realize you can't win with zero runs?

Well, we have better pitchers than they do.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

This guy is at least 20% slower between pitches than most.
