Weird thing is I think I remember Price recently saying that Hoover was using the curve too much.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I had tremendous hope for Price. I thought he would make decisions with something other than his gut, because he is in fact incredibly smart. I was wrong. That said, this team couldn't execute a great plan anyway.

No, I need this team to go on a losing streak so I won't worry about wild cards and all that. They're done. Ovah.
By the way, Hoover has cost us at least 10 games this year. Is Bryan Price blind or just stupid? No manager anywhere would have allowed two relief pitchers to walk four without removing him. No offense, Phil, but that is what is insane.

BUT someone posted on another thread that going forward..... Hoover would pitch better than everyone in the bullpen but Broxton and Chapman.
Price did nothing wrong here other than waking up Chapman from his sleep apparently to pitch in what is still Coors field in a tight game. 5 runs or less is tight in Colorado.
Who cares about Hoover and his pheriperhal or however the heck you spell it....numbers. This guy is like a mud hut with a 3 run or less lead.
Awesome how Redszone turns on a manager seemingly overnite...lol
Hoover should be dfa'd tomorrow but he won't be
A lot of this roster garbage is on Walt and I believe Bob C as well.
The perception of both Hoover and LeClure this year is that they have either lost whatever they had or are just having bad years. But it takes months for the FO to identify problems and deal with them.

Send Hoover someplace where he can close out a game 7 in the playoffs vs the Reds or something. This is where this is all headed.
2015 Rotation: Under Construction
The curse of starting Skip Schumacker!!!
I've said this ad nauseam ....the more pitchers you bring in the more likely to land the dud.
Jumbo was fine....took him out
Brox was fine and took him out with a 4 run lead!
Rarely is Chappy the dud but he was in no way needed and if he's ever the dud it's in a non-save situation.
