The difference between Hoover and Ondrusek. Hoover is playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded chamber. Ondrusek maybe one chamber is empty. Either way it is not going to end well. Hoover is just a sure thing.

If he leaves lefty Parra in to face righty Holliday and Holliday hits a HR than Price is an idiot to let a guy who was so terrible yesterday face a righty like Holliday.

This bullpen issue is pretty squarely on the front office right now, use of Hoover in key situations aside.

lol is that what you want Bryan to say to the media? "Quite frankly guys we suck, and I'm tired of managing this crap team. I'm on strike until Bob fires Walt."

Ironic thing is, the offense has been solid the last three games. The pitching, bullpen in particular, has let us down big time. Can't blame the absence of Votto on these couple of games.

This bullpen is simply one of the worst, if not the worst, in the league. My problem is that no matter what Price does, he makes the wrong move with the bullpen time after time after time. It has to be some kind of record. This season, as far as post-season play is concerned, is over, so why not leave things alone when they are going well? Para was cruising and what does he do? He brings in a pitcher on day off the DL who had his problems before his injury. I don't get it.

I guess Price didn't think Ondrusuk's career ERA of 6.26 against the Cardinals was that bad, given his other options.

There are seemingly zero good choices in that bullpen right now. Personally, I think anybody sent out there was going to give it up.

We have a chance at a better draft pick with every loss. So there's that.

This team might be the one to go from 90 wins to 70 wins in one season. Almost reminds me of several Reds teams including 2011, 1991, and a couple of others.
