Is that the same lineup 1-8 as yesterday? If so, when was the last time that happened?

I think Negron should get a chance to push Cozart for SS. He might drop to his minor league numbers, but until then, ride his better offense while there is still a chance, slight as it may be, for this season.

This is Price's #1 lineup in his eyes with what he has. 3 of them were out machines last night....hopefully we find a way to win

    #STLCards lineup vs. Cincinnati (8/19):
    Carpenter 3B
    Wong 2B
    Holliday LF
    Adams 1B
    Peralta SS
    Jay CF
    Taveras RF
    Cruz C
    Lackey RHP
I don't like to sound egotistical, but every time I stepped up to the plate with a bat in my hands, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the pitcher.

I´d argue that it would be better to play negron and cozart over BP, at least for the next few days/weeks. BP wasn´t good offensively since 2013 and with this injury and his very fast return (and very little playing in the minors) I doubt that he can be help this team

    but I hope I´m wrong

Goodness Lackey looked good there. His fastball is up 3-4 mph from a few years ago. I remember watching him as he topped out at 90 and lived in the 86-89mph range.
