    Hope as to what?

If I were the Reds' hitting coach, I wouldn't include videos of tonight's first seven innings in my bio.

How many times have the Reds been shut out this year? Seems like it has to be near the top in MLB.

11 so far, 18 games with just 1 run.

I've been on vacation and on to Bristol for the race and all that time, save the last two over the weekend, they've found every way to lose. That's not anything that would inspire me to watch, and yet I do. I don't understand me.

With Frazier playing with an achy back, there just aren't any good hitters in this lineup.

Cueto has received near the bottom in run support for all pitchers this year. 3.50 p/g

I think the Reds should back off Cueto for the rest of the season. He has thrown the most pitches in MLB this year, and 1000 more pitches than Clayton Kershaw.

I'd love to see how many wins Cueto would have if he'd actually had some run support this season.

Gotta wonder if the team hasn't given up. See no fire out there, especially on defense ( not to excuse the putrid bats). This team is falling apart.

One problem Cueto has is that Mesoraco doesn't play when he pitches. I can't stand this personal catcher thing. Rest Mes against tough righties, not when any particular hurler is going for the Reds.

Tonight I think we saw the Reds backing off Cueto. He deserved to come out of the game, but Price pretty decisively lifted him with 95 pitches.

I thought so, too. Price usually goes with his starter, sometimes too long. As for Mesorocco, he's been horrible at the bat lately, too. This team was disabled by injuries as much as they are just not good hitters. We knew it the last two years, too.

    Corcino is pitching now.

First game. Good luck. Just don't expect any run support.

Agree. But right now they are missing only one hitter, albeit their best one. Everybody else is in the lineup. Team still can't score.
