Reds now only 3 games ahead of the Cubs in the loss column.

A number of teams could catch the Reds. Would give them a higher draft choice, so there's that.

In a season of many disappointments -- Bruce tops my list but I think this team was too heavy of a lift for Ruth & Gehrig
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

Last place might wake up Bob, Walt, and Price. I blame all three. They will blame the injuries, but the offense is less only one hitter as KC points out. If it's not the players, then blame is hard to assign.

Cueto looked pissed about that 1st inning. Can't blame him.

I know Corcino has had a couple of rough years as a starter, but I hope Daniel (and Contreras too for that matter) is given a long look in the pen come Spring Training. We have a pretty decent list of talented starting candidates up and down the Farm System, but not many that really wow you on the reliever side of things. Working fewer innings per appearance and having the major league staff to work with could help with the control and young, cheaper, strong arms could really help freshen the pen.

Win Percentage is now at .477 with 31 games to go.

Threatening 2008-2009 win level totals now.

This thread is as dead as the Reds bats. I can't blame anyone for chucking this season. Just terrible and they are boring to boot. With just over a month to go they are only three games away from last place.
