base hit, walk, HR. 3-0 Pirates. Good work Simon.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I thought Simon might be getting back in gear with his good outing last time.

I've seen enough, back to the bullpen. Too many innings, didn't hold up.

You'll always have the all star game, Alfredo.

What makes you think (friendly tone) he would be a better asset in the pen now?

To me if he continues to spiral downwards (this start and 1 more)....I'd shut him down in hopes he will be fine next year

Worley was a good pickup by Pittsburgh.

I mean the bullpen next year. I have no more suggestions for this year, which I deem to be over. Don't care how they handle this year with Simon, or frankly, anyone else.

Except they might want to take it easy on some of these starters who are mounting up a lot of innings for no good reason.

I'm predicting Simon pitches well the rest of the game. Reds still lose, but Simon settles down.

Very nice throw by Mes. Didn't think he had a chance. Beautiful throw.

If so, then he's back in my good graces, LOL. Then he can start next year, LOL.

I'm really not considering Simon for a rotation spot for next season if I'm the Reds. Either put him back in the bullpen or trade him. We have internal options and in today's pitching dominated game there are better options available as well.

I don't think I'm out of line by saying, regardless of what we have....Skip should never get 3 straight starts.

Luddy FWIW is 0 for his last 16
They should both be playing with Bruce riding the pine.

Lol....interviewing Leake during the inning and asking him about his college teammate Ike Davis. He said he can't say much about what he did on the air but that he was always kissing around and playing grab ass. Lol and he also gave it back to Sean Casey a couple times.
