    We're good again!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Not a bad little season for JC. Talent, heart, and intelligence is a pretty tough combination.

Nice little win today. That play by Negron was one of the finest I've ever seen. If I'm Walt, Negron has a spot waiting for him when the 2015 team is being constructed.

This is completely anecdotal because I don't have the numbers in front of me, but it seems like Heisey always hits well at PNC Park.

Hits well against the Pirates period, but no so much this year - .219/.242/.406

Skippy starts every game next week because the Reds' manager doesn't know grit from granola.

I'm happy that the Reds could salvage the last game of the 3 game set with my sons going down to Pittsburgh from Calgary to catch the series.

IIRC, a number of years ago we were in Cincy to catch the Blue Jays and Yankees beating up on the Reds, The Reds won the last game when Heisey hit 3 HR's.

His ring announcement always emphasized that he was from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Just so nobody would get it confused with Calgary, Alberta, Brazil.

Unfortunately, many Americans didn't learn much about Canada in school, so there are often huge misconceptions about Canada.

I'm sure there is many that don't know Calgary or Alberta.

You obviously aren't one of those people.

I know its the home of the Hart Family, and Superstar Billy Graham trained there. I remember Badger Bob Johnson coached the hockey team and the olympics were there once. Don't think I could find it on a map though.
