    It may not be effort, but it is definitely a lack of talent in several aspects of the game. Add questionable coaching/managing at times, and you get a mess like this.

    I predicted 86 then changed to 79 after about a month.
    Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

    I picked 83 wins. I thought it would be a tough year, but that the rookie manager would have them play hard to the last day.
