Regarding the lineup. I call shenanigans. But I knew this would happen.

    Axelrod mowing them down.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Guys, Yorman isn't going to start until late in the month according to Price, except maybe a spot start.

"September is quite often a great time for young guys to come up and get a look, especially when you're in a situation when you're looking at 2015. We're not there," Price said. "We haven't played terribly well since the All-Star break. I think you're going to see a lot of our regular players in the lineup and sporadically see some of these young guys get in there and get some opportunities. Really more of pinch-hit, pinch-run early in the month and then we'll see how things go for us near the end of the month and then we'll see how things go for us to the end of the month. There may be — hopefully not — but there may be more opportunity for them to play at the end of the month."

I take it Price thinks this team is still in the fight..... my opinion may differ

Can't keep a bat like Schumaker's out of the lineup.

Or he thinks he's obligated to play guys like Ludwick who have one foot out the door.

PS I love this ballpark. Gotta get there someday but work never takes me to that part of the country. Gonna need to make a special trip.

even if the reds were in the hunt, I doubt that Yorman would be worse than Skip this year. If we would be in the hunt playing BP everyday (and putting him in the middle of the lineup) would be a bad idea.

why play frazier out of position? I just don´t get his decisions

That was one ugly flip of a pitch -- didn't deserve to get that one back

    I think we've discovered Axelrod's Achilles Heel.
