It is about money when you have very, very little of it.

And don't lie. You aren't watching. Everyone knows you are a robot.

Say that this team is not the same team as last year's version.

You know there are more differences with this team than who spends the whole game in the dugout.

I know there is frustration, but you are better than being one of the banana phone callers who visit this place in times like this.

Very frustrated, but making things worse is not the answer. There is little talent in the minors, that's evident.

Same result. One pitch, one swing, one out.

Negron has earned himself a look as a backup infielder next year....Todd didn't really need a 5th AB after 2 baserunning gaffes and a throwing error

    Playing GM for a day...

If I were in Walt's shoes I really dunno what I'd do. It's a bit of a mess atm.

Although I will say I'm surprised how little this disappointing season has bothered me. Maybe my subconscious saw it coming.

There is talent, it's just at AA or lower for the most part.

A good example that helps me keep calm is Boston, they let Ellsbury and Drew walk, tried their younger players at CF and SS, and it didn't work out for them. They have had their share of injuries too, and misses in the free agent market, but they have money to throw at the problems they have.

The Reds need to be creative to fix theirs. The last time they had a losing season, Castellini found some money, and Jocketty acquired, Latos, Marshall, Ludwick, and Madson(darn injuries), while going with other changes in the bullpen and bench.

I have faith they can find a new LF, maybe SS, will have a good idea if Bruce can rebound, and make the necessary changes to the bullpen and bench again.

All in favor of burning the Green jerseys?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
