In 1980 Dave Collins had 79 steals in just 144 games (Eric Davis not impressed)...but the year before in 122 games he only had 16 SB?

10-2 Mets. Literally having flashbacks to the Lost Decade right now.

I know we have 34 pitchers on the roster (and my god they are fun to watch) but I'm rooting for Skip to pitch.

Are the Mets in a pennant race? I do not think so. So why is Lutz and Yorman not starting?

Price talks so much BS he makes Dusty sound like a scholar.

I do have to wonder if this performance over the last few weeks has Bob pondering some serious changes. This level of performance is a threat to the Reds ability to make money and Bob doesn't strike as the type to sit by passively and watch money fly out the window.

Price said he will play regulars when games are against teams in the race.

Then he plays the non-regulars one minute against a team, that while is really not threatened for a playoff spot......is still dealing with the Yankees trying to catch them.

The Mets are not in the race. Lutz should start as much as possible to see what you really have. Lutz has never started back to back games this year.

Price talks out of his A a lot it seems to me.....about everything, from day one.
