You know, he may get the knee back to 100% for next year.

But I wouldn't completely count on that, much less that he's going to fix what looks like a miserable plate approach.

IMO, he should be trade bait 1A or 1B (along with either Latos or Leake).

Get some decent prospects for the two. And save the $20+ million or so they'll need for the 42-year-old shell of Joey Votto.

One of the reasons I'm not sold on the accuracy of defensive metrics. I don't think they fully capture defensive value currently.

Especially when Heisey has saved 22.

Bruce and BP just ain't no good this year.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I can believe 9 if it's based on how many outs, who is on base etc....but no way Lagares is 21 ahead of him. I can see Lagares only 9 ahead of Heisey more than I could see BHam only having 9

Why does it infuriate you now and not in June/July?

If Meso caught 4 of every 5 days he'd get about 128 starts...mix in 7-8 as DH.....135 starts is a good number.

I care that Meso hasn't been tried at 1st base more than I care that Pena catches Cueto

I have no idea how Frazier bails out a smidge, hits a outside curve off the outer portion of his bat 405 feet....it's unbelievable
