Re: 9/10/14 Cardinals of St. Louis Missouri vs the Reds Baseball Club of Cincinnati

When my wife and I went to the game on Monday, I commented that this should have been a huge series. The Cardinals for 4 games at GABP on September should have been critical pennant chase games.

Instead we get duds. Cards in first place and the Reds playing like St Mary's School for Blind Nuns. Crap.

LeCure makes you think for a moment that maybe he isn't totally terrible by getting the first two out but a hit batter and a single and he's out, Dennick in.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Don't know what people want from Simon. 7 innings, 5 hits. A ton of ground balls. Win #14 (hopefully).

Why does Jay get HBP so often?

This would be a great spot for one of those fabled 1.0+ inning Chapman saves.

I was simply being facetious....I think he's had an outstanding year.

Ok.....two options if I was manager.

    Option 1....bring in Chappy

Option 2....walk Adams to load bases....I refuse to pitch to him here.

Trying to figure out what universe the people complaining about Reds announcers being unprofessional or insulting to the other team are living on. There's a lot you can say about Reds broadcasters, but putting down the opposing team and players is not a crime they are guilty of.

    Huge out there for Dennick.

That said, I don't really see him being in the mix in 2015.

Option 3....Drill him. Too big to get out of the way. Too big to miss.

    Fixed!

Dennick gets a tryout and gets Adams to pop out.

I have completely no idea why someone would think Reds announcers are bad mouthing StL.
