These 3 guys for the Cubs might be 3 of the 5 in this game to be able to drive one out.

How did I miss Lutz's at-bat? He is now driving below the Mendoza Line on I78, with a .496 OPS. Could be the reason his backside is glued to the bench. Lutz is texting Janish for batting tips.

As I predicted. Playing all the kids at once, you should have expected it.

    He murdered that ball

So much for pitching Chapman...you gotta save your closer on the road. It's what the book says.

    Just an obvious ending.

A manager might tell the pitcher, whatever you do don't let Rizzo beat you.

Maybe Price did say that, who knows.

Kids. They'll be the death of all. Or at least a baseball team.

He hit the bejesus out of that ball.

Rizzo is a mighty fine hitter

Reds bullpen is 0-80 bazillion after the AS break.

Everyone in the Game Thread saw that walk-off homer coming. I wonder how the Padres feel right about now? Rizzo hit that ball over Yonder. Hehe. A little pun to end the night.

Decision making. Not the Reds strong suit in 2014.

Game Thread well over 50 posts. A handful of them were actually about the game too. Nice.

Okay, I will say it. Another one-run loss.

The good news is that it looks like the Reds found a replacement for Hoover.

To be clear, in case it already wasn't, my post was pure sarcasm.
