    McCutcheon singles Polanco home in the 7th. Pirates back on top 5-4.

    Walker just tripled McCutcheon home. Marte just flied out, so it now Pirates 6-4 after 6 1/2.

    2 run home run by Frazier ties the game up 6-6.It remains 6-6 after 7.

    Afford has been a nice pick up for the Pirates. Imagine if the Reds had him the second half instead of Hoover.

    Considering Axford was terrible for everybody else before the Pirates and it's only been 12 games for him in Pittsburgh, I don't think Axford would have made a lick of difference.

    He was very good for the Cards down the stretch last year, and good with the Indians before one terrible appearance, after which they sent him to the Pirates, where he's been good again. He was terrible today, though.
