This is a bit of an aside and maybe better served under its own heading..

Is anyone here a member of Sinemia?

I ask because I am. Subscribed late 2018. It has been an abject nightmare. I have no idea if MoviePass was better or worse, but Sinemia is one of the greatest frauds we've seen in some time.

I can and will be happy to explain why, if anyone is interested.

Saw Shazaam...it was good probably the 2nd best DC movie I have seen after Wonder Woman. Love the direction DC went with this one kept it a bit more light-hearted which plays well with the comic.

Saw Dumbo (it was fine, nothing special), and they showed the trailer for the Aladdin live-action remake before it. With Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King remakes, it was making me wonder if children are becoming less interested in animated feature films. And then I thought, if CGI keeps getting better and better, the line between animated and live-action becomes so blurry as to become irrelevant.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Yep. I joined it 3 weeks ago.

I won't see a dime from this, but I couldn't care less. I just want everyone involved with this scam to go down and go down hard.

    Saw Endgame last night:

Three hours of pretty much everything. I was expecting Infinity War Part 2 but this one had more humor and even music tied in. There’s no comparison in the two films.

There wasn’t a dry eye after the final battle. I wasn’t a fan of Caps ending though. Without giving spoilers away, it just seemed selfish.

There’s no mid or end credit scenes which is customary in Marvel movies but the credits themselves are worth sitting through.

I really liked Cap's ending and didn't find it to be in the least selfish. I don't want to say more so as not to spoil things.
I liked "End Game." I don't always like super hero/comic book movies, including The Avengers saga. I loved the first Avengers movie, was bored by The Age of Ultron, and thought Infinity Wars was just so-so. End Game I really liked.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."

I started a spoiler thread to discuss it.

did something yesterday that I haven't done in a long time, which is to go see two movies in one day.

Both were fine, I guess. Godzilla: King of the Monsters had its moments, but it was a missed opportunity.

John Wick 3 wasn't as good as John Wick 2 which wasn't as good as John Wick.

I said something bad about Zack Snyder's take on Superman on Twitter. Pray for me.

That was my impression, but I was told in the conversation that anti-Zack sentiment was driven by incels.

Sequels rarely do measure up to the previous ones.
