Anyone see First Reformed? I don't go to a lot of movies, but I think I want to see this one.

Saw Solo last night...it's a fun movie with a nice back story and some new interesting characters that were pulled in...I would put it about a notch below Rogue One as far as Star Wars rankings go. It's a bit slow in the beginning but that is often saved by the nostalgia of seeing Han and Chewie together again on the Falcon. Lando is spot on as far as casting goes...and I loved Qu'ira as Hans love interest. For those of you who were big Han fans its a HUGE adjustment, so be prepared.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Couple of things I didn’t like, thought the beginning of the movie was kind of weak. However, it def got better as it went along. Had no problem with the casting of the movie. It is a fun movie.

    Speaking of Solo, of course.

I thought Solo was fun but disposable. I can't see myself re-watching it, but it was worth seeing once.

It was my least favorite of the modern (post-prequels) Star Wars. I'd rank them:

    The Last Jedi
    Force Awakens
    Rogue One
    then Solo a distant fourth.

The Last Jedi is your favorite of that group?? Ugh.

Best SW film since the original trilogy, in my opinion.

I don’t think TFA holds up very well.

    I’d say:

    Rogue One
    TLJ
    Solo
    TFA

Not a huge Star Wars fan, so I enjoy the deconstruction/genre-mapping/darker elements of the movies more than the nostalgic or "this is what Star Wars is all about" elements. So my ranking would be:

    The Last Jedi
    .
    .
    Rogue One
    .
    .
    TFA

    Will probably not see Solo.

Honestly, you should check out Solo. It’s a fun movie that also has some dark stuff.

If that stars align and one of my younger siblings hits me up to watch it at the second run theater, I'm open to it. I can only drag my wife to watch so many dumb super hero/child-bro movies though and she is my usual movie date.

I saw it, it was playing in my neighborhood, 2 tickets a large popcorn and water for $20, it was not bad, not great. It was fun, not much dark side / force stuff I enjoyed it.

I'm not a Star Wars fan and I hate comic book hero movies, so I have no skin in that genre to complain about (other than they are saturating the market almost as bad as westerns did in the late 50's)

I'll have to watch The Force Awakens again some time. Rogue One definitely improved after a second viewing.

I'm going to try again, since it's on Netflix. I gotta say, I found it a bit of a mess.
