We don't have a set policy on that. I would imagine problems could arise if we go too far in advance. Probably one year ahead is enough.

Well the site is down until the last two team owners join up. So all of the trades this week have been made offline. The 2016 draft picks will officially be available to be traded as soon as the last two owners sign up so I can get the roster cuts finalized. Then the site will be fully live and ready for action.

FYI, we have never had a flurry of pre-season trades like this before, so this is sort of uncharted territory. Get in on the action while it is hot!

Observations:

• The record for most trades in a single season is 18 by camisadelgolf in 2010.
• Two teams average more trades per season than CRF2000 has made in 6 years.
• Stephenk29 made only 2 trades in four years, none in the first three years. Will M is making up for lost time.
• GAllen5862 has averaged 10.3 trades per year since taking over from WMR, who never made a trade in his two years.
• Camisadelgolf is the leader in all-time trades by a comfortable margin despite making only 3 trades in 2009 and 2013.
• There have been 8 occasions when a team went an entire season without making a trade, none in the last three years.
• There were more trades made in 2014 than in any other year. 101 trades were made last year.
• There have been 363 trades made since our league began in 2009.
• In our twin league (The League of Reds Nation), there have been only 126 trades since 2010.

We have had a flurry of trades in recent days, so we are getting a head start on the 2015 season.
