Very interesting. I am not up on Beatles personal stories and didn't realize that there was a wife before Yoko.

The Beatles had legions of beautiful women screaming for their bodies...I never understood how one of them ended up with a woman so ugly as Yoko Ono...

The Beatle that did the best marriage-wise (at least for good looks) was Harrison who married model Patti Boyd

If I'm not mistaken she eventually married Eric Clapton and was the inspiration for his song "Wonderful Tonight"

IIRC she was the inspiration for at least two more songs: "Something" by Harrison and "Layla" by Clapton. Someone can correct (too lazy to look up).

I know you're right about 'Layla", even though she was still married to George at the time. 'Something' seems right as well.

She must have been something to have 3 hits songs written about her.

Warren Beatty might argue that it is not good to have a song written about ya.

When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

No. Interesting writeup on the possibilities at Wikipedia entry.

I thought it was about Mark Felt.

edit: after posting this I read the linked wiki article. I had no idea that Carly Simon had made the same joke. Sorry.
