Dennick claimed by the Dodgers

I know that age takes its toll on the FB. Still, isn't it unusual to lose that much velocity at such a young age? Was there an injury that was not diagnosed?
Biggest problem that Corcino and Dennick had was that they were on the forty man roster.
Reds probably would have been happy to keep working with them, but wanted the forty man flexibility.
Dodgers DFA'd Corcino.
Dennick stays with L.A. organization, outrighted to AA ball.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
This is what I'm talking about. Dykstra's a guy the Reds should have claimed and then tried to pass through waivers and outright to Louisville.Rays sent 1B Allan Dykstra outright to Triple-A Durham.
Dykstra was designated for assignment by the Rays this weekend to clear a roster spot for James Loney. The 27-year-old passed through waivers unclaimed despite owning a nice .856 career minor league OPS.
