Kind of OT, but I love how Kohls cashiers always tell you how much you saved. "Look, you saved $200!" $200 off what? The price at another store? I don't think so. All you did was mark up the original price way too high then put half the store on sale. It's like crying wolf. What good is a sale when everything's on sale all the time anyway?

But... I saved. I saw it on my receipt.

Kohls cash might be the greatest marketing scam ever created. Women literally think they have to go back and spend more to take advantage of the Kohls cash they earned. It is like an addiction.

I have a wife and 4 daughters that love Kohl's. I swear they should give me a beer the few times I walk in that store!

I bought the only suit I own from Kohl's, because I am a cheap bastard.

You can't beat those suit sales!

I love Kohl's. Best things in my life from Kohl's:

    1. my gay best friend's t-shirt with fuzzy baby chicks on it that says "Chicks dig me"
    2. my most comfortable pair of heels that cost like $22. Seriously.
    3. my fake engagement ring that my cousin bought me for $7.50 that has allowed me to watch countless baseball games in peace at bars. Thus allowing me to focus my energy on important things like baseball message boards and probably saving me from actually getting married. Wait, maybe I have mixed feelings about Kohl's.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Pretty sure that's just the MSRP set by the vendor?

If TV has taught me anything (and it has - before Cable TV I was mostly piecing American History together using the backs of sugar packets), it's that getting hit on does not have to be a bad experience.

Yes, but they negotiate what that MSRP is when they buy from that vendor. If they want it higher, the manufacturer will certainly comply. Half Price Stores ran the same racket but Kohl's has made it a fine art...(or grand larceny on a mass scale depending how you look at it)
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...
