He didn't look that slow. But he was certainly hustling.

    Nice job to K Abreu.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Uh-oh, Lorenzen doing his DeSclafani impression.

Soft lineout to Votto. No harm done.

Lorenzen looks like he's getting some amazing movement on his pitches. So much so that it looks like he's having control problems (although he is over-throwing just a tad occasionally). But his misses are just barely misses. He gets that under control and he's going to be amazing.

Nice AB to work the BB by Bruce.

I wonder where Mes gets the lumber for his baseball bats.

Man, if Rocco was right, I gotta believe that hanging breaking ball would have been deep into the crowd.

If you've been listening during every. single. at bat. by Mez, you'd have heard the Reds' announcers drone on and on and on about him getting it from the trees in his backyard.

Mesoraco's going to smelt the iron for his new hip.

Really painful to watch. Put Mes on the DL, then rehab or operate. Playing is not doing him any good.

From ore mined out of his land in Pennsylvania, of course.
