Hate you say it friends, but .500 clubs play like this and break your heart everyday. Against a club that can hit the ball, you need to score runs and with a lead off hitter who can't get on base and hitters clueless with a soft throwing lefty, you lose. Chalk it up and go for the next one. It's just the story of 2015.

Price has deserved a LOT of criticism this year...but not today. We get it that you're pissed and frustrated...but look at the decisions calmly and rationally and I think you'll change your opinion for today. Price's best relievers have been Chapman, Cingrani and Hoover. With Lorenzen's short stint, he was going to need someone to cover multiple innings most likely. What does it matter what innings they are if Cingrani is nowhere near the plate? Diaz didn't pitch in the 8th because of mismanagement...he pitched in the 8th because Cingrani was bad and he couldn't be trusted to pitch another inning.

Worst team in baseball last 2 years with runner on second and no outs. We finally get a big hit and our leadoff hitter doesn't come close to getting a bunt down. Next hitter watches 3 straight without getting the bat off his shoulders and then a very predicable ground out. Reds organization accepts this. Cardinals don't tolerate and that is the difference. Theres a reason why Walt isn't in ST Louis anymore. These are our players and we are stuck with them. Under 500 team this year and we are losing Cueto, Leake and Chapman before the end of the year. Let Price finish this year and bring in Larkin next year with young talent. 3-5 year rebuilding process

Reds just keep proving they are no better than a .500 team, if that. White Sox don't even pitch their two best starters and the Reds still can't win the series. Very discouraging series to lose.

I'm not that great in math but I believe the Reds won one game and the Sox won. In my math tables that does not equal a split. Unless they played another game last night I didn't know about.

Well, they did. White Sox took the series 2-1.
