"Even a bad day at the ballpark beats the snot out of most other good days. I'll take my scorecard and pencil and beer and hot dog and rage at the dips and cheer at the highs, but I'm not ever going to stop loving this game and this team and nobody will ever take that away from me." Sorry for your loss. From recent experience, it does get easier as time passes.
Where we gonna go?
I'm so sorry to hear this on top of everything else that you've reported recently. To say you're going through a rotten period right now would be understating it. Seriously, how do you interact with your brother as is inevitable in times like this? The words don't come to me to help you out but I'm bummed. I hope you write in the future how things his rock bottom in May 2015, you persevered and how you're flying high again.
ORH, just came across this thread this morning (don't check this area much anymore). So sorry to hear about this. Not much to add that others haven't already said, but having lost both my in-laws and my Mom in the last four years (just my Dad left now), it's a tough road to travel, even though we all know it's something that's part of this life we're living. Prayers going up for you and your family today, ORH.
