My mistake....They have scored 143 runs, which makes 3.97 runs per game. Much better than 2.75 per game, but still low. 20th out of 30 in MLB.

They certainly won't and don't score enough to overcome a rotation injury, and still wouldn't if they have a healthy Homer. Here Skip is the #1 offensive threat off of the bench outside of the catching platoon, in St. Louis that's laughable.
I'm still against it. Yes, he's hot and it's great. But I simply don't think he's normally suited for that slot. I'd honestly prefer to see Votto back in that slot.
