Has Welsh ever worked with Marty? pretty sure he would have tried to ring his neck about now.

A halfway decent rec-league softball outfielder makes that play. Watch them rule it a hit.

Not really. He's always done those things. But usually when he gets one, it's gone. This seems to be a sign that he's done.

Busta Pose grounds out. 3-0 headed to the bottom of the third.

    Boesch nonchalanted that one.

I have feeling we're going to be seeing this post quite often tonight.

I don't know if it means he's done but it certainly is concerning. I don't know if he's just missing or if he's actually lost some power but it does seem of late even when you think he's got one it barely stays in the ball park.

LOL! Of course the official scorer ruled that a hit. Because Little League moms think Brennan tried real hard there. Nevermind the fact that it went off his glove and any competent MLB CF would have made that play. Rule it a hit!

One can hope the Reds learned a valuable lesson about spring training stats and performance from Boesch, Dominguez, Marquis, and Gregg.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The best was earlier this year when Byrd flat out dropped a ball in deep LF ... but they ruled it a double.

    Double for Leake.

That they're not getting enough playing time during the regular season?

The Reds saw their Dominguez error early. Gregg is gone. Marquis is an obvious candidate for the boot. Boesch was the one non-roster guy from Spring that I had hope would be useful. Personally, I'm ready for the Reds to make a move and get him out of there and off the bench. Selsky gets healthy, he'd get his spot. Meanwhile, I'd give Suarez some time in the OF. Since we know he can play IF and seems to be starting to hit, he could be a super-sub (not a utility player like Negron, but a true super-sub like Zobrist, Harrison, etc) with a little OF experience. One multi-position guy who can hit a little would transform the bench from wasteland to fairly strong pretty quickly.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
