    I heard about this on the radio this morning. Tragic.

    Sorry to hear that. Far too young to die. He was a pretty good player for a short time at Vandy.

    The Indianapolis Star reported that Parker's body was found at the bottom of the Morse Reservoir after witnesses saw a man thrown from an inter-tube when he hit a wave while being pulled behind a boat. The man, identified as Parker, was not wearing a life jacket.
    As an avid boater, let this tragedy be a lesson to those of us who are still alive and breathing on this earth: Don't go tubing without a life jacket. Not only is it against the law, it could cost you your life.

    Met him once seemed like a very nice young man. Others that I trust said he was delightful. I was sad the day he left Vandy, but that doesn't compare to this.

    That is the shame about this tragedy. A simple life jacket saves this kid's life.
