If the Mesoraco era in LF can ever begin this lineup will look much better!

    Phillips
    Votto
    Frazier
    Bruce
    Mesoraco
    Pena
    Cozart
    pitcher
    Hamilton

Pros and cons of batting Hamilton 8th and the pitcher 9th?

Pro: He would most likely never be walked so that they can get to the pitcher for an easy out.

This game reeks of an under performance hangover.

I'm not sure I can stomach anything but a thorough thrashing of the phillies tonight.

Revere leads off the first with a gapper to right/center, Bruce got his glove on it, but couldn't hold on. Revere gets the triple.
Francour grounds to BP to drive the run in.

What did Bruce do? I see on game day it says ball deflected off him? What does that mean?

He ran quite a ways to his right and the ball glanced off his glove and past him.

Bruce. What a joke. Any average defensive RF makes that play.

The hex on Jay in the Philly OF continues.
