"I think we’re starting to get to the point where people are starting to get tired of this stretch of ball,” Votto said. “I think something needs to start changing and start going in a different direction. I’m going to do my part to help make that change.”
Those egg council creeps have gotten to Thom too.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Thom is just mesmerized by Johnny's turn!
Rounding third and heading for home...
Who was the Yankees scout they were talking about? They never said his name?
Bud Selig: "I'm the worst commissioner ever"
Rob Manfred: "Hold my beer"

Two K's and a groundout for Cueto in the 4th.
Despagine with a leadoff flare double. Bleh.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
The pitcher lines a double into the RF corner on an 0-2 pitch.
Pitcher on second with no outs and the 1-2-3 hitters coming up? No problem, says Johnny.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
It's going to be sad watching Cueto pitching for another team.
But seriously, trade him now.
Cueto K's Venable looking. Norris with a shallow fly out to Bruce. He then blows Upton away with a fastball after the lead off double.
Reds should have signed Venditte.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
I hate to agree with Thom on just about anything, but I'm also puzzled by why there would be a rule that forced a "switch-pitcher" to throw from one side to a batter the entire AB. If he's got the glove and not delaying the game, what difference does it make how he throws the ball to the plate? That would be like telling Bronson Aroyo he couldn't "drop down" and do all the crazy stuff he used to do.

Schumaker with his 9th double of the year, more than everyone besides Votto and Frazier and tied with Cozart.

Yeah I'm not sure why you wouldn't be allowed to take 2 seconds to turn yourself around and throw with the other arm.

Solid baseball there.
