I mean, I appreciated Negon's defense at 2b yesterday. There was some merit to that. But cmon, Negron starting in left field tonight? Do you want left field defense or a bat in the lineup with some pop and which has been hot the last week?

Negron couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

I know Boesch sucks. But isn't it worth trying him over Negron? He hits lefties as well as righties. And he's a real OF with strong defense. I keep saying it. If Boesch isn't trusted to make a start in LF, then he should be released. Find someone who they do trust.

You don't understand. You play the guys who aren't hitting to get them going. The ones who are hitting don't need to play. Price World.

Really, though, except for Negron this isn't a bad lineup

99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

Joe Maddon is managing a game on ....that....network. It'll be like listening to Penthouse Forums in audio book form.

I've seen this before with managers, including Price.

Negron got two hits yesterday. A lefty is pitching. The theory is that Negron's due a correction upward, his numbers are terrible, he got two hits yesterday, give him another shot today.
