When Harper drives in 120 this year will Thom then say...."STILL, STILL with just 1 season over 57 RBI" ?

    GIDPs will haunt.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Chris, stop trying to explain to Thom that Gordon's year is essentially a mirage, he ain't gonna get it.

What a defensive play to nail Gordon at the plate!

What are these clowns even looking at? MLB replay is beyond screwed up.

He's out. Should have taken about 2 seconds, not 3 minutes.

Give some extra credit to Billy for getting close enough to keep Dee from flying from nearly the get go. Dee did a poor job of being far enough off the base....he could've been on 2nd when ball hit was and easily gotten back had Hamilton caught it.....and also would've scored with ease.

If you aren't tagging (and he wasn't)....gotta be as far off as possible so you can still get back safely if caught.

Great job. Still deadlocked at 2.

Agreed. That was poor baserunning from Gordon. He didn't get a good read on the ball. He should have scored with ease like you said. Still a great defensive play by the Reds though.

I know, I'm not a big fan of that terminology either. I think to "strike out the side" it should be three up, three down all due to Ks. I mean, technically, you could give up 10 ERs in an inning and still "strike out the side."

BP is such an easy out right now. He's clearly playing hurt.

Still rather have him out there than Skippy or Negron, but perhaps DeJesus should be the 2B until BP gets himself right.

7-pitch inning for Lorenzen. That's good, right?

Obviously there's been some very hard hit balls, but I love love love that Lorenzen has just 1 walk so far through 6, and it was intentional.

    1 BB/4 K in 6 innings for Lorenzen.
