Don't know about this decision, it's not asking too much but I'm worried Price will have too slow a hook. If he puts on a baserunner, take him out.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

M-Lo saws him off ... one down. 8 outs to go.
    Consider the source.

Wow, Bruce very well may pass both Larkin and Davis on the Reds home run list this year.

    Pretty cool.

    What an outing from Lorenzen.

5-2 Reds going to the bottom of the 7th.

It worked. Very solid start by Lorenzen. 1 BB and 5 K's with the walk being intentional.

Ahh, BP needed that. Lucky single. We'll take it.

    Cishek sucks.

I fully expect him to get a 2016 invite to Goodyear

Very good game all around. Lorenzen striking out more, not walking almost as many as he has SO. That was a clear concern for him in the last few games.

I would prefer Bruce Not go on some crazy tear because the down cycles are horrific. Good to see the power showing up more often.

Not sure we're gonna see another horrific down cycle this time. The last month+ even when he wasn't getting hits, his pitch selection has been much better. I don't remember an AB where he looked completely lost and/or over matched in quite awhile now. I think he might have figured something out, plus regained some confidence.
