I don't know. I like the variety. Plus both teams have to play with the same dimensions.

That was a solid defensive play. Knowing not to try to do too much and just eat the ball definitely did save a run. Good choice by Geno.

I like the kid a lot. I know his BABIP isn't going to hold up but he's obviously not overmatched at the plate.

It will be interesting to see what happens with him and Cozart next year.

Bo Jackson with, IMO, the greatest throw ever:

I like variety, too, but not these cavernous parks that feature no area whatsoever for power potential. In the old days, you might see some variety in a place having a "short porch" in LF or RF, but being an graveyard in CF. These places like MIA, SD, WASH are just cavernous everywhere.

For sheer distance, it might be. Had a little arc in it, though. I still prefer Dave Parker's 1979 ASG gunshow.

Not that it has effected him, but the ump seems to have a tight zone for Iglesias.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Cozart gets $2.35MM this year. He's arbitration eligible. What does he ask for next year? $3MM? 2.75MM?

With Suarez in the fold, those numbers are all you have to know.

Iglesias is throwing well, but the Marlins are a poor offensive team. Even if Stanton is in the line-up. On that note, I think the Reds should bypass Cueto for tomorrow's game to
avoid any possibility of an injury. Commence the trading.

Frazier drops an F bomb after the popup.

Man, we should have way more than 2 runs off this guy.

    Solo HR for Gillespie
