Most amazing thing about Thom's call of Hamilton's double is that he actually sounded like he was on our side.

IBB to Votto, because he is so hot right now
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Indeed. Followed by Thom's definition of "crushed" which apparently means almost all the way to the warning track.

For the past 40 years, it seemed that every mediocre starter that the Cubs called up, made his debut against the Reds, and pitched brilliantly, only to never be heard from again. Today might be the first time in my life the Reds have gotten to a Cubs rookie pitcher.

So it only took a small slump from Frazier for Thom to go back to the "can't get a runner in from 3rd" meme.

IBB to Votto with Frazier and Bruce coming to bat, I've forgotten what a really big inning looks like...

And on top of everything else Thom can't even keep track of how many outs there are with it right in front of him.

I think Thom would only be happy if the other team was full of great looking, phenomenal players who all had incredible back stories and were not even trying to get the Reds' players out.

The Reds offense definitely likes home cooking.
