Can't forget where third is. Just used to coming at it from a different angle.

This is fun. I want as good of a draft pick as possible, but it's just fun beating the Cardinals. I'm watching this game like we're in the playoff race or something.

Generally what Cubs fans feel like every year of every decade for the last century.

Just the way Holmberg planned it.

Billy's not hitting, but he makes a great play last night.

Todd hasn't been hitting, but there's a great Defensive play.

Those things really pick up a pitcher and give him confidence.

Just love how the talking heads can't even get done describing how Martinez's control is sooo good and then he walks the pitcher Holmberg..

(Though I don't know quite what I was smoking with my last line about Holmberg replacing Leake, other than that I thought Holmberg's stats in AAA would improve to pre-2014 levels)
Wait, didn't he kinda sorta just replace Leake?

I'm a critic of Billy's offense, but at this point with 2015 lost I am fine with having him track down everything in centerfield to help the confidence on the young pitchers. But the Reds absolutely have to have a Plan B come Opening Day 2016 for CF besides Billy.

Hamilton seems to be setting up as a very good bench player/5th Outfielder.

With the team going nowhere this year, you gotta find your joy where you can. Watching them play the Cardinals this well is a joy.
