“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Ray got cute with the sliders, then seemed to forget the storyline.

That was the most entertaining Phillips at bat of the season.....ended well.

Pitcher had him on ice but he hung in and caught a hanger.

Masterful pitching to Votto....teased him on 3-2 last AB for a K and fooled him again for that one. Kinda impressive.

According to RedsStrikeZone on twitter, 2 balls called against Votto were strikes as well in that AB.

I did the math.....didn't know your running abilities but even if you were an elite Kenyan....that would get us through this baby.

Agree we want a consistent arm slot from Suarez on those routine plays....but I want my SS, 3B and 2B to have many useable slots for different plays.

I hate the error but let's see Sampson and if can work out of it.

tHommy just can't stand the pace of MLB games, (too many foul ballz tonight) it's obviously too slow for him. Maybe he should just move on to specializing in the NFL..?

Danger now. Pollock walks after a lengthy at-bat where he was behind 0-2, and now Goldschmidt is up.

Yesiree! No danger, first pitch GIDP by Goldy.

To anyone who knows who the 5 starters are for next year or sees it as obvious....you are too pompous for your own good.

I'd be happy if he specialized in no longer being a Reds' announcer.
