Rollins hit a leadoff double against Lamb in Lamb's first start, and now does it again.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Lol. You would think that being the son of a MLB announcer, Thom would be more worldly.

    Nice damage control by Lamb.

Long, 30 pitch 1 run first inning for Lamb. That's been one of his problems through his first few starts, he gets very few quick outs.

    Re: 8/25/15 - Dodgers @ Reds

After last night I would be more comfortable if the Reds were down by four after the first or at a minimum three runs but I guess a 1 run deficit will have to do. Lamb getting through with only 30 pitches compared to Sampson's 45 yesterday is also a bit disconcerting. Hopefully the Reds will be able to overcome these short comings and rally nonetheless.

The Reds games should just be renamed to "Thom's love affair with RBI."

Did you know that Adrian Gonzalez has more RBIs than anybody in the NL since he joined the Dodgers?

Of course, what that means is that Adrian Gonzalez is just the the same guy he's always been and has had a nice number of baserunners on ahead of him, but still. RBIs!

"That is not a good start to the 2nd inning, walking the number 7 hitter"

    More valuable insight.

Ump not giving Lamb anything on the edges of the zone.

I'm not a professional broadcaster, I'm not sure how I would come across. But there's got to be a way to voice some displeasure without making it sound as if the player was personally trying to offend you with their poor play, right?

Nope apparently not, Lamb's only goal is to annoy Thom.
"I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings."

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.
