But Mattheus pitches ALL THE TIME. Shoulder hurt, legs hurt, elbow barking, he doesn't care.

He's a man's man. No fancy coffee for him.

Rollins HR after the base hit by the pitcher 5-0 Dodgers

    No more Mattheus
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Another batting practice pitch from this clown. Unreal.
Rounding third and heading for home...

So this is the part where the Reds score 10 runs, right?

OK, so we let everyone have fun for a night (an inning?) but good to see we're back to following the master plan.

I noticed in the box score that Votto added a cheap un-clutch 2-run homer in the 8th after it was already 10-5.

Thom has a tremendous amount of faults. That said, he's light years better than George Grande. At least Thom has enthusiasm for the Reds.

I think you can spell it either way.

Speaking of dufuses (or is the plural dufi?) what I learned from Thom's rant is that while Votto is having a great year, it's not as good as Bonds' season because Votto doesn't hit with as much power. Conclusion: Votto should start juicing.

Don Mattingly pulling the starting pitcher 88 pitches into a shutout. Sure, why not.
